Preschool

The independence is growing daily for your little ones from infancy to preschool! They are beginning to understand their emotions, their likes and dislikes, and even start to think about the outcome of their decisions: what a huge milestone!

Development goals

When your child is in the preschool program, our primary goal is to provide the skill set necessary to thrive in kindergarten and the many years of schooling ahead of them. We will work on several aspects, such as:

Social

Share and take turns with your friends, and participate in imaginative play, group activities, and games.

Physical

Eating with utensils, throwing and kicking a ball, walking forward and backward, using art materials such as paint brushes and scissors, and daily tasks such as dressing and undressing.

Cognitive

Question (ask “why?”), Use longer sentences, differentiate between the past, present, and the future, and imagine and describe extremely active and creative short stories.

Curious fact

“The brain of your child in preschool is developing rapidly. In fact, the

brain of a child of 3 years is two times more active than the brain of an adult “.

Transition week

For some, your child will transition from our Sr. toddler program; for others, this is your child's first time with us! We have a transition period for any situation. For our new friends, we will make you spend time in the classroom while your child interacts with the new faces and spaces. In the next few days, you will slowly leave the room, enhancing their confidence to be independent.

Please note that this is a general template and we will work with you and we will

the necessary adjustments! We want this to be a peaceful process for your family.
